In the mid-1960s, it was decided to pave for the first time the path
that borders the Stream Ramallo in Neighborhood Somisa. The South
Coastal stretches from the street 21 Este to the end of the neighborhood,
to the south. It was repaved in 2013. When the layout of the path was made, it was decided to populate with trees the place. Some of the tree species that could be found are: varieties of eucalyptus, pines, willow, camphor, sweetgum, ombúes, samuhúes, blackberries, lime trees, fellings, bananas and others. It is a place of meeting, rest, fishing, picnics, people strolling in car, motorcycle, bicycle, rollers, walking, running... The path, measured with Google Maps, stretches for approximately 2 kilometers. The photos that are located in the last three rows, at the end of this gallery, are from the sector of the stream that occupies the Club Somisa, from the East 21st street to the north, towards Savio Avenue. This gallery is made up of photos that go from the year 2016 to 2023. |
