The Neighborhood Somisa is the longest and one of the most
picturesque neighborhoods of San Nicolás de los Arroyos. Here was
created Choral Somisa. This neighborhood has the particularity of being subdivided in five parts to the long and two to the width, for the location of the streets, called "East" and "West", crossed by Central Avenue. Many years after built the neighborhoods 1, 2, 3, and 4 are built another, of different architecture to the rest. It is located between the 1 and the 2, and it is called neigborhood "New". The gallery is subdivided by each neighborhood, to delay less the loading of the photos. By clicking on the following buttons, you can see a gallery of each neighborhood, one of the Holy Spirit Church, and one of the South Coastal, a walk that borders the Ramallo Stream, and there is also a gallery with old photos of Barrio Somisa and the factory. Finally, there are general photos here below. *Explanatory note: some photos were taken in January 2007, a couple of years before the repaving of the neighborhood. The rest of the photos are from 2019 onwards. |
