Some
people have asked me "Does it mean the logo of the choir?" And it's
interesting because everything has its history, and our logo also has
his. Fernando Chamorro, son of Alberto Chamorro, one of the creators of Choral Somisa, designed our logo. Simple, interesting and very well thought out. He sent an email saying that the four moons representing the four voices of the choir: Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. But in addition, the design was inspired by the blazing fire of the chimneys of the steelwork SOMISA (today Ternium Siderar). The original logo is very simple, so little by little I have been shaping and finishing touches for use in billboards, tickets, and all sorts of advertising and, as shown in the pictures below, for the realization of a lid and a cover of CD for future use. The cover has the concept "Moon" at basis, as our logo is made up by moons. It is the abstract concept. The back cover has the concept "Flame" as a base, using the lower moon as a platform, because the real meaning of our logo is a flame of fire burning at nightfall. Next, the cover, the back cover, director's logo and choristers' logo, the original logo and two pictures of the chimneys of the steelwork Ternium Siderar, in which is inspired in our logo. © Nicolás Alejandro Barrio. |
